Welcome to day 3

Begin by becoming very relaxed. Find a naturally relaxed sitting position and open posture. Loosen any tight clothing.

Take a deep breath in through your nose…hold it gently...and let it out through your mouth….

Breathe in again...pause...and exhale fully….

Breathe in…pause... and out.…

In.... Out….

In…. Out….

Keep breathing naturally. With each breath out, you become more and more relaxed.

[Pause. 30 sec]

As you exhale, imagine Anxiety and stress being released

You Feel the calm and quiet with each new breath

[Pause. 30 sec]

As you continue to breathe in a relaxed and deep manner, notice the places in your body where you may still hold anxiety.

Feel yourself sending soothing, fresh air to those places.

This gentle release drains anxiety and worry from your  body.

[Pause. 10 sec]

Muscles soften.  Joints soften. Feel your body relax and make Space that can be filled with clean, refreshing breath, the source of life and well-being.

Gently, easily, send your relaxing breath into those spots, and as you exhale, release the tension from those spots.

 

[Pause 10 sec.]

Take a few more breaths and notice your whole body is soft and comfortable.

[Pause. 10 sec]

Now see if you can become aware of your heart beat.  

[Pause. 10 sec]

With each breath your heart is steadily moving the life-force through your body.  Perhaps you can feel it.  Maybe you can hear it.  See if you can move your awareness into your heart.  

[Pause 10 sec.]

This heart of yours that was filled with wearisome anxiety or weariness, is calm, warm and welcoming of your presence, your attention.  

A pleasant light surrounds you and you can see that the light is coming from the deepest part of yourself.

See if you can allow that light to lead you more deeply into your heart

[Pause 10 sec.]

As you pass through to the core of your heart, you notice that the light is warm and welcoming.  

All around you is a glow of peace and safety.  You recognize the sensation of calm in this place.  This place in your core, your center and strength….  

You have found a constant, steady peace and comfort in your heart and soul.  You have arrived in your center of wellness, of wholeness – where you are aware of your goodness, your strength, your loving loveliness.

[Pause. 10 sec]

Breathe in again...pause...and exhale fully….

Breathe in…pause... and out.…

In.... Out….

Explore your feelings

[Pause. 10 sec]

Open your eyes, and remain sitting for a few moments longer. Slowly return to a standing position, and feel calm with the rest of your day.
